Students back to school on Tuesday!

  Monday, Nov 20, 2017

After 3 days of delays the Liberal Government and Progressive Conservative MPP's joined forces on Sunday to order approximately 12,000 college staff back to work on Monday with students following on Tuesday.

With students losing 5 weeks of classes the term will now be extended 2 weeks to December 22nd in many programs, reading week will most likely not take place this school year and possibly a week or two may be added to the school year next Spring to make up for lost time.

But how do we change things so a strike does not take place in the future? I'm sure that's a question many of us will have.
